DESCRIPTION
The flexibility of our baggage lifter allows it to grip almost any type of bag, including soft bags and backpacks. No matter the size, it will lift baggage up to 32 kg in gauge, and out of gauge (OOG) environments up to 60 kg. An integrated angle adapter allows the operator to angle the suction foot at ninety degrees to pick up baggage from the side and the swivel allows for the baggage to rotate 360°. Baggage handling at airports is typically a combination of automated and manual handling, often in areas with limited available working space and low headroom. TAWI lifting equipment provide flexible solutions where ceiling height, narrow and confined areas with limited working space may be an issue. Existing users of TAWI baggage lifters have highlighted increased productivity, improved workplace safety and reduced number of injuries. Independent studies display that the load on the body is reduced by more than 80% by using our equipment, with added bonus of maintained or increased productivity.
